Our juniors play in the Brisbane Metro touch competition, which is affiliated with the sports governing body, Touch Football Australia. We support our players through coaching, subsidize some of the costs of Representative touch, and assist with UQ scholarships.

2 separate seasons are run each year, girls on a Thursday afternoon/evening, boys on a Friday afternoon/evening. Kids can play in either season or both.

Age groups are in 2-year steps, beginning with U8's, then U10's and so on. You must be at least 6 years old to play. Boys can only play in the boys competition, and girls can only play in the girls competition. The younger age groups (U8's and U10's) play first, under modified rules (eg small field, less kids on field etc). Games start from 5pm - till the last game at about 8pm (the 8pm games are usually only for U16 & U18's).

Boys Next Season Wednesday 11th February - Wednesday 10th June 2015

Training times

Particularly with the U8 and U10's training is usually just on game night before the game. Our emphasis with the young ones is on teaching the basic's and having fun. The older teams train at a time mutually agreed within each team.

Club fee $125 (includes our trophy day).

Girls wear black bike pants, boys wear black shorts, touch shoes are recommended, albeit especially in the younger ages many kids play in either normal runners or in soft/moulded footy boots.

We have many experienced players who act as coaches, but like most junior sports we never have enough volunteers. In the young age groups, the coach is much more like a manager/team organiser. We will happily pay for volunteers to do a coaching course, and our coaches kids play for free. Please let us know if you'd be prepared to coach (organise) a team.
